The Indoor Polish Championships R1 where held this past weekend at Indoor carpet track in Kobierzyce, City in Poland. The track was very fast with some technical sections on wich you needed to be really fast and watch out for the high grip to not loose position.

The grip at the track changed with every hour, the more cars were driven on the track the higher the grip was. Had to find a good setup to be fast in turns and fight with the big grip at the same time. It was not my day as I made too many mistakes. More than two months without racing affected my driving performance. I finished the qualifications on 2nd spot, lost the TQ by few sec. As usually I had a great fight with Tomas Rajdus.

After the qalifications it was time for finals:
A1 - had an amazing fight with Tomas Rajdus for the first place, but I touched the band and lost control of the car. Ended this round on 2nd place.
A2 - I was fast but again had some problems with the grip in the turns. Jan Ruman took the chance and went pass me. Ended on 4th place
A3 - Tomas had the 1st place, so I had to fight for the 2nd spot. I was fast at the start but in the first minute of the race I ended up in a small accident with other drivers. Tomas was in front and Jan was on 2nd spot, I didn’t have enough time to catch them up. Ended up on 3rd place.

Driving the new XRAY X1 2016, the car was amazing. I just need to get back in shape. The flowing servo system in the X1 2016 is great, giving us more adjustability. And the side tubes make the car smoother on turns. And the best news - 7 XRAY X1 cars in A final and two new X1 2016 on podium. That’s GREAT!
